The Engagement Data Imperative - From Access to Action
Monday, October 17 | 2:00 - 3:30pm EST

Higher education has reached a tipping point – while data access used to be the primary barrier to data-informed decision making, now many institutions struggle to translate all that data into meaningful insights and ultimately, action. As engagement administrators, we have a responsibility not just to our institutions, but to our surrounding communities to use data for actionable change. This panel includes leaders of national organizations and initiatives for engagement, and will discuss the imperative of data literacy and use in the context of community engagement data.

Panelists include:

Administrator Working Session: Big Picture Planning
Tuesday, October 18 | 2:00 - 4:00pm EST

Join fellow Collaboratory Administrators for a 2-hour working session that is designed to assist institutional teams identify strategies for implementation and data use that they can put into motion on their own campuses. The working session will be divided into individual work time, break out groups, and large-group sharing. Working session #1 will be focused on big-picture goals and strategic planning.

Administrator Working Session: Setting the Plan in Motion
Wednesday, October 19 | 2:00 - 4:00pm EST

Join fellow Collaboratory Administrators for a 2-hour working session that is designed to assist institutional teams identify strategies for implementation and data use that they can put into motion on their own campuses. The working session will be divided into individual work time, break out groups, and large-group sharing. Working session #2 will be focused on drafting concrete action plans Administrators can implement throughout the remainder of the academic year.

Closing Session: Collaboratory Administrator Panel
Thursday, October 20 | 2:00 - 3:30pm EST

Join the 2022 Collaboratory Summit closing session to hear from a panel of Collaboratory Administrators who are implementing and strategically leveraging Collaboratory at their institutions. The panel will discuss the importance of community engagement data to fuel campus and community success and how their institutions are:

  • Leveraging Collaboratory as a tool to assist with the institutionalization of community engagement on their campuses,
  • Strategically aligning data collection and disseminating efforts to generate buy-in from internal and external stakeholders, and
  • Positioning and sharing Collaboratory data to move the needle on issues of key importance to their campuses and communities

  • Stacy Bluth, Collaboratory Program Manager, Office of Outreach & Engagement, North Carolina State University
