Illinois State University has a new and improved way to track, share, and learn about community engagement activities. The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) recently launched Collaboratory, a public-facing database that collects and showcases the community engagement and public service activities of faculty, staff, and students.
To better understand the full extent of the University’s community engagement and public service efforts, Duquesne is now using Collaboratory—a secure web-based platform—to document its community-based work, projects and research.
Online database ‘Collaboratory’ is a vital information hub, where research, activities, partnerships and more reside to amplify impact.
“What excites me most about Collaboratory is having a location where all of the information can be stored and yet be visible at the same time,” said Dr. Gloria Murray, director of the Office for Community Engagement at IU Southeast.
IUPUI is excited to be an early adopter of the Collaboratory, a web-based platform that tracks and monitors partnerships, activities, and collaborations among universities and their communities.
