Forming New Partnerships

We partnered with the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) to co-host a $5,000 research fellowship.  The fellow will utilize Collaboratory’s national dataset to advance knowledge around campus-community partnerships, with a focus on larger, more quantitative methodologies that challenge assumptions, clarify anecdotal evidence, and examine larger trends and patterns.

New Product Features

In 2022 Collaboratory developed many new product features to enhance the ability for institutions and their faculty, staff, and students to highlight how they engage with their communities.  New features included an improved map-based search, individualized faculty/staff reports, and the ability to clone existing activity records.

Creating New Networks

In preparation for the 2024 Carnegie Community Engagement elective classification, we formed a community of practice designed to assist engagement professionals leverage the Carnegie framework as an opportunity to recruit allies, generate buy-in, and build a comprehensive portrait of their institutional engagement.

Welcoming Interns

Collaboratory was thrilled to welcome two student interns from Arizona State to the team in 2022.  The students are providing invaluable support for Collaboratory’s marketing, communications, and development efforts
