One of the most valuable aspects of being a Collaboratory institution is the opportunity to learn with and from each other. We are excited to announce a series of workshops this Spring, available ONLY to Administrators, to support Collaboratory’s success on their campuses.  Our Spring 2020 offerings include:

Addressing the Biggest Barrier: Generating Faculty Buy-In

Tuesday, February 18, 2020 | 2:00-3:00pm EST

We love faculty – and recognize the need to celebrate their good work by capturing it in Collaboratory!  However, one of the largest hurdles Collaboratory Administrators face is generating faculty buy-in across campus.  This webinar will engage Collaboratory Administrators in dialogue about strategies, tips, and examples to successfully engage faculty in Collaboratory.

Collaboratory’s Bread and Butter: Leveraging Reports and Data

Tuesday, March 17, 2020 | 2:00-3:00pm EST

Data is only as good as the insights you can get out of it!  Join us for a deep dive into Collaboratory reports. We will share a basic overview of available features and strategies for using Collaboratory reports creatively, concrete examples of data requests, and consider choice points in how to present the data.  This webinar will engage Administrators in dialogue about reporting needs and encourage conversation about future data enhancements.

Holding Up the Mirror: Data Insights for Institutional Planning and Field-Level Research

Tuesday, April 14, 2020 | 2:00-3:00pm EST

Data is a powerful thing!  As Administrators work on their campuses gathering community engagement and public service data to inform institutional planning, resource allocation, and better understand how their faculty and staff engage in community, Collaboratory is working to explore that data in the aggregate.  This webinar will examine data across Collaboratory institutions and provide insights into Collaboratory’s Research Initiative.

Year Two and Beyond: Second Year Maintenance and Growth

Tuesday, May 12, 2020 | 2:00-3:00pm EST

As institutions’ use of Collaboratory continues beyond the first year of implementation, new opportunities, challenges, and choice points arise.  This webinar will explore issues that emerge as Administrators transition into their second and third years of Collaboratory use, such as: activity maintenance and data cleaning, efforts to increase the institutionalization of engagement across campus, and strategies for improving data use and influence with internal and external stakeholders.
