Moving the Needle: How ASU Students are Building Institutional Capacity for Community Engagement

Join us for a webinar featuring Arizona State University students discussing how they are actively building institutional capacity for community engagement (social embeddedness).  This panel discussion will explore students’ involvement in fostering social embeddedness, their unique contributions to ASU’s engagement mission, data collection and entry via Collaboratory, and how these experiences align with their professional development goals.  The panel will highlight ASU’s strategies for sustaining student progress and offer insights into how they uniquely work with and position students to fulfill institutional goals and priorities.  Attendees will gain valuable advice when working with students to advance community engagement efforts, particularly as related to the effective use of Collaboratory.

  • Gabriela Chen: Social Embeddedness Analyst, ASU
  • Adelaide Randall: Social Embeddedness Analyst, ASU
  • Vanny DaFonseca: Community Engagement Data Input Specialist, ASU
