Mutual Benefit + Reciprocity: Community Partner Roles and Benefits in Community-Engaged Learning Experiences

While there is much research on the benefits of high impact practices for students, less is known about the benefits of such learning experiences for community partners (Kuh, 2008). This session will provide participants with a framework for thinking about the roles that community partners play in engaged learning experiences. We will then look at trends in the associated outputs/outcomes reported for partners from such experiences through the lens of a national open dataset on partnerships.
