Town-Gown Turn Around Webinar

The International Town & Gown Association’s Town-Gown Turn Around webinar series focuses on how to evaluate partnerships.  Their June webinar highlighted three different experts who discussed their tools and strategies. Kristin Norris, a panelist on the June webinar, shared what Collaboratory is and how IUPUI has used it to document engagement.  As a follow-up, ITGA has invited several experts who all use Collaboratory to talk about how they are using the data to 1) examine the strength of partnerships, 2) foster dialogue amongst the community about their current and future partnership work, and 3) explore “placemaking” – a theoretical approach to understanding our engagement within the context of a community based upon social issues being addressed.
